The shares of Endeavour Silver Corporation (EXK) led top gainers among publicly quoted silver mining companies listed on New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday with an 8.22 per cent increase in price per share. The stocks of Mag Silver Corporation (MVG) followed up closely with an increase of 7.41 per cent during Tuesday’s trading session.
Other silver mining companies top gainers on the NYSE and their percentage increases includes Great Panther Silver (GPL) which stocks were up by 5.99 per cent, Hecla Mining Company (HL) was up by 5.09 per cent per share, and Silver Wheaton Corporation (SLW) gained 4.56 per cent per share at the Tuesday NYSE trading session.
The stocks of Endeavour Silver Corporation also topped the list of highest price gainers among silver producers on Tuesday on Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX, formerly TSE) as the silver mining company pulled 5.99 per cent in price increases per share. Endeavour Silver Corporation is a silver mining company that deals in the exploration and production of silver at its mines based in Mexico.
Meanwhile, the price of silver gained 1.85 per cent per ounce to close the day’s trading session at $31.85 as recorded on the New York Stock Exchange.
